The most anticipated announcement of the month will just have to wait.

Superstar entertainer Beyoncé announced on social media late Monday that her mysterious expected January 14 announcement is delayed because of the Los Angeles-area wildfires.

“I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss,” she added in the post. “We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community.”

She also said her BeyGOOD foundation has donated more than $2 million to disaster recovery and relief efforts.

Fans had been abuzz on social media since Christmas Day, when Beyoncé released a video that ended with an indication that she would make an announcement on Monday, Jan. 14.

Speculation has included ideas that she might reveal dates for a tour to support her acclaimed “Cowboy Carter” country-influenced album, merchandise related to the album, new products for her Cécred haircare line, a new perfume or even an entirely new album.

Her loyal Beyhive will continue to wait on the Queen — and use the time to save more money for what’s next.
