The Consulate, a 2021 James Beard grant recipient in Atlanta, Ga., prides itself on a globally-focused menu that changes frequently. It’s pretty rare that the same thing will be on the menu twice. That makes it a favorite. As a bonus, it’s a moody spot with a romantic vibe.

Dama, in Los Angeles, is a good spot for the finest in Latin American cuisine.
