Sunday, September 21, 2025. Bloom Ranch in Acton, California, is Los Angeles county’s largest Black-owned ranch. It provides sustainably sourced and grown, pesticide-free produce and serves as a place where everyone has a right to nutritional food.

Leibo Glover, a 63-year-old Black Californian, was diagnosed with diabetes and needed an amputation after an infection set in while on a family trip, highlighting the disproportionate impact of chronic illnesses on Black Californians and the need for preventative care.
