We know. It’s been a rough few days of spending, and you’re ready to put your cards and wallet away.
But hear us out. This time, it’s for a good cause. Your favorite cause(s), in fact.
Tuesday, December 3, is Giving Tuesday. Since 2012, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving has been set aside for people to donate to causes they find meaningful. The GivingTuesday organization, which started in 2020, works to encourage generosity on the day globally, with a focus on supporting groups that transform local communities.
Donations in the US exceeded more than $3 billion on the big day in 2023, the GivingTuesday organization reported.
