Dr. Yaba Blay is an Assistant Teaching Professor and Co-Director of Africana Studies at Drexel University. She is a scholar, activist, author, and professor, where her scholarship, work, and practice center on the lived experience of Black women and girls, with a particular focus on identity politics and beauty practices.
