Omar, the incumbent in Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District Democratic primary, is fighting to keep her seat away from Don Samuels, the former Minneapolis City Council member who nearly defeated her in the same race in 2022, with the help of a $350,000 contribution from the United Democracy Project, a super PAC affiliated with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
