A$AP Rocky, the entertainer, has been found not guilty of shooting at a former friend in a 2021 incident, the culmination of a three-week trial in Los Angeles, according to USA Today.

Professionally, Rocky, 36, who was born Rakim Mayers, is best known for the song “F—in’ Problems,” from his 2013 debut album “Long. Live. A$AP.” He also has branched out into modeling and acting. He faced more than 20 years in prison if he had been convicted.

He had been accused of shooting at A$AP Relli, born Terrell Ephron. The two men, who had been friends since their teen years as part of A$AP Mob, a hip-hop collective, met up Nov. 6, 2021, in Hollywood, where Rocky reportedly fired two shots at Relli.

His attorney claimed the shots were from a prop gun.

A$AP Rocky also is well known for his relationship with superstar entertainer and Fenty Beauty mogul Rihanna, with whom he shares two young children.
